Bevirs Law are local, approachable, specialists. We have a highly experienced team of private client lawyers who provide bespoke solutions for our clients’ individual legal needs.
Whether it be a simple will or the administration of a complicated estate or trust, we can help.
There are many good reasons for making a Will:
If you do not make a Will, there are rules about who will inherit but these will not necessarily achieve what you want. You may wish to include people who would not automatically qualify (such as stepchildren, other family members, friends or charities).
You may wish to leave your husband, wife or partner a right to live in the house or a life interest whilst providing that the right to the proceeds from the house ultimately passes to someone else.
You may like advice on associated issues (such as inheritance tax; lifetime planning; and the potential impact of different arrangements on any future care costs).
We will discuss the different options with you and draw up the Will to give effect to your needs and wishes.
We offer fixed fees for straightforward Wills. If the Will is more complex, a fixed fee may not be appropriate but we can give you an estimate of the likely cost at the outset.
